We started by having him open his birthday presents in the morning, which were a big hit with him and the little boys. (he got several new Star Wars transformers)

After Andy opened his presents and played with them we treated ourselves to lunch at the BYU Creamery. We love it there. Though we did regret giving the boys ice cream before naps. We'll remember that next time!Then we had our friends Jordan and Amelia over for dinner. Andy and Amelia share a birthday, so we decided to celebrate together. We had Chinese food for dinner, and I made cake (layered yellow cake with fruit goo between the layers and fudge frosting) for dessert. (and maybe breakfast...)
It was a good day, and I think Andy had a nice time. Now we have the rest of the weekend to spoil him and relax!Happy Birthday Andy!! (And Amelia!)

Sounds like a really fun birthday! Fruit "goo" cake? I'm sure there is a more appetizing name for that! Looks good though.
It looks like the boys were excited about Andy's presents too. And Chinese food....you are making me HUNGRY!
