Big things are happening!

Things we're looking forward to:

Easter...and Candy.

Disneyland trip! Yay, only 2 more weeks!! (the boys still don't know, we're so excited though!)

Andy graduating! For the last time, woo hoo!!!!!!!!

Moving. We're leaving (for Missouri) after graduation. Literally. Right after graduation. We've got the moving truck reserved, and I'm in full packing mode. I feel like moving has always been so far in the future it would never really happen. But it is. It's crazy.

And hopefully Andy will get a job. So we can, you know, live.

So, we're excited and scared. But mostly excited.

Weekend up north

This weekend we headed to the Logan area to visit Sis and Phil and their kids. We ate yummy homemade pizza, took the kids to an indoor play place and played games, and we even got to see my brother Josh and his family for a bit. The boys loved playing with their cousins! It was a fun weekend, and I'm bummed that Sis moved here just as we're getting ready to leave!

Here are some fun pictures of our little trip.

Selissa and I accidentally were wearing the same color shirt! Sisters are connected, even far apart. When we were living at home we used to have this happen sometimes, we'd have our own schedules and then when we saw each other later in the day we'd be wearing the same outfit (yes, we had matching outfits...), or same colors. Anyway, that was fun. :)
Ava was so so cute! She is seriously adorable!
Ava and Jack climbing around in the play place.
Avery barely had time to stop for a picture. He was having too much fun!!
All the kids waiting for a snack before church. They looked so cute.

Saint Patrick's Day

On Saint Patrick's Day we wore green and ate green and talked about Saint Patrick. Avery asked me about Maywin Socket and laughed about green milk all day.

Here's the picture we sent Andy while he was at work. It took a few shots to get both boys looking in the right direction. Surprise.
mmm...green milk and lucky charms for breakfast!
for dinner we had corned beef and potatoes, green jello and artisan bread (we like it better than irish soda bread...and it's the same shape so it works, right?)

It was fun, we like holidays!

Cheese Dings

My sister moved to Utah!! But...since we're likely leaving in the next few months it's not as exciting as it could have been.

I've already seen her 2 times in the last few weeks, so I'm not complaining. That's way more than I would have seen her if she stayed in Colorado.

Anyway. I didn't get a picture of us together. (and she'd kill me if I posted the picture that Andy took!) But she and her family came to spend the afternoon with us on Saturday. They made us Cheese Dings for lunch. Seriously unhealthy, but very yummy!
It was fun visiting and letting the kids run wild. Next time we'll go to their house, which is much bigger than ours!Avery and Morgan being hams for the camera.
The Cheese Ding Feast. :)

Pizza, movies and potato heads

This past weekend Andy had a scout camp out he needed to go on. So the boys and I had our own pizza and movie night, we watched Hoodwinked (then Avery insisted he was red), ate yummy pizza, played with our Mr. Potato Head stuff and chilled.
And missed Andy.
Avery made a Mr. Potato head with an eye patch and proudly exclaimed "Look Mom, it's like Grandpa Rob because he only has one eye!". Which made me laugh a ton!

That will mostly be funny to family and people who know my Dad, he's blind in one eye and therefore the butt of many jokes. He takes it all very well.
Jack just wanted to put glasses on the Darth Vader Potato Head. He walked around with it all night saying "star wars" (which sounds more like wa woes) over and over again.

We had fun, but we were very happy to see Andy when he came home the following day!

An Avery original

Avery loves to sing, he learns songs fairly quickly and loves it when we all sing together as a family. In the last few days he has started making up his own songs. He asks if I want him to sing "the balloon song" to me, or the "square song".

Here are the words to a song he made up the other day.

"When Buzz came to kill the baby
Woody came too late, too late, too late...
Then Woody Lassoed Buzz,
And Woody was nice to the baby."

He's gonna be on the radio someday. :)

Amos 3:7 and Jack words

Avery had his first assignment in Primary today. He gave the scripture in closing exercises, it was so cute. Andy helped him say it and I got to watch. He did great. Since I didn't want to be the crazy mom at church I opted not to take the camera and record it. I really wanted to...
So we had him do it again at home. still cute, a little more crazy than at church, but I guess that's what we get for letting him sit in the rocking chair. :)

Here's my attempt at getting Jack to cooperate and perform on video. Doesn't work out so well. But he's cute. How many people can say their 20 month old can say "star wars"? (he also says "Jedi", but that didn't make it on the video) I want to get some of his other fun words and tricks on video, he's pretty hilarious.

Football

Andy started playing on an intramural football team with other students in his MSW program. They had their first game last Tuesday night, so the boys and I went to watch. It was pretty nice out that night, and the boys loved getting out and running around. They need it. Bad.The game ended in a tie, which is lame. But at least they didn't lose!

We're looking forward to cheering Andy on in his next game.

Time Out

Jack is pretty good about going to time out when I ask him to. Usually it's for trying to attack Avery, or climbing on the table...or dumping out the trash. He's gross.

But how can I stay even a tiny bit upset with him when he looks this cute in time out!?

He probably does it on purpose. Sneaky kid.

Happy Birthday Andy!

Andy's birthday was yesterday. And happily enough he only had one class in the morning so we got the perfect kick off to his birthday weekend!

We started by having him open his birthday presents in the morning, which were a big hit with him and the little boys. (he got several new Star Wars transformers)
Transforming...something...
After Andy opened his presents and played with them we treated ourselves to lunch at the BYU Creamery. We love it there. Though we did regret giving the boys ice cream before naps. We'll remember that next time!

Then we had our friends Jordan and Amelia over for dinner. Andy and Amelia share a birthday, so we decided to celebrate together. We had Chinese food for dinner, and I made cake (layered yellow cake with fruit goo between the layers and fudge frosting) for dessert. (and maybe breakfast...)
It was a good day, and I think Andy had a nice time. Now we have the rest of the weekend to spoil him and relax!

Happy Birthday Andy!! (And Amelia!)
