Pioneer Day Festivities

This Pioneer Day we spent the majority of the day with Andy's siblings.

We headed over to one of the parks here in town, with Jon and Jacque, where they had lots of old cars, activities and crafts for the kids(the lines were long for all of them, so we just looked!), a petting zoo, Pioneer Village, Farmer's Market and a stage where there were performers off and on.There was a 1917 fire engine that the kids could climb up and sit in the driver's seat, ring the bell and get their pictures taken with their fireman hats! It was fun. And all the food there smelled SO good!

After the park festivities we headed back to our place where everyone was meeting for lunch. It was fun, and there is seriously something great about bbq hot dogs. It's the only way I can eat them.
This picture makes me laugh...what the heck is Avery doing?! It's hard to get a decent picture of him these days!
After naps we took the boys down to Chris' place to swim for a bit. then met up with a couple of Andy's brothers for dinner at the BYU Creamery. We love it there.

Don't know what I'm missing, never got to go to the BYU Creamery!
LOVE Avery's face. Hilarious.
Old cars and fire trucks are always fun. I bet you couldn't find a Pioneer Day festival here if your life depended on it!
The food at fairs always smells good..mmmm..kettle corn!
