update

So, when we moved to Missouri in April Andy had a job at a place about 45 minutes from where his parents live. We saw it as a temporary situation, but were very grateful that he had a job at all.
After about 2 1/2 months working there and waiting for his Missouri licensing stuff to go through we started looking for something better.

At the beginning of August he started working for a company that would provide more opportunity for him to move up and would better support our family. So now he's working closer to home, which is nice to not have a long commute anymore and the boys and I love being able to stop by his office and visit. 

This week we've also started looking at houses. I'm so excited! I'm not going to lie, sometimes I wish we were on "House Hunters" or "Property Virgins" and had our own Sandra Rinomato and a video camera following us around. If you don't watch HGTV. Shame on you. :)
Maybe I love HGTV too much. Except I don't think that's possible, so lets pretend I didn't even say that.
Looking at houses is fun, even without the video camera.
We're hoping we'll be able to get in something around the first of December, if not before. We're really excited. Really.

Avery is loving pre-school. Each time I drop him off he makes sure to tell me in a reassuring way that he'll see me at lunch time. And then when I pick him up all the way back to the car he asks if Jack is "so excited to see me". Every time, same thing. He's such a sweet little boy. Jack and I miss him when he's at school, but we've got a little schedule of things we do when Avery isn't with us, so we make it through.
Avery has also started sounding out words, he loves to try reading books, so we have a few that are beginning readers and he has fun sounding out the words. He's always asking questions (which gets a little old every day about 4:30) and wanting to look things up in the dictionary. He's just so curious, and lucky for him he takes after his Dad and picks up on things pretty quickly, and remembers almost everything.

Jack is going through a moon obsession. Oddly enough Avery went through a similar phase at the same age.
Jack looks for the moon every time we go outside and is practically giddy when he sees it. He also insists on singing any song that mentions the moon, he has a couple favorites though "Mister Moon" and "I See The Moon". We also check out the book "Goodnight Moon" about every other time we go to the library.
When we drive around at night he talks to the moon, yells at it and lets us know when the moon eats a snack. Apparently the moon is partial to Star Wars snacks, especially R2-D2. Jack thinks he's pretty hilarious when he comes up with that.
Jack is also crazy. It's constantly one thing to the next with him. He definitely keeps us on our toes, and of course that's one of the things we love about him. His craziness.

I've been keeping busy with church callings, scouring the internet for houses I want to look at, making sure the boys and I get outside as much as possible before the weather turns frigid, and keeping the boys out of trouble.
