Avery frequently likes to make forts during the day, he loves playing in them, but usually tears them down about a thousand times and wants me to rebuild. I saw
this awesome fort a month ago or so and bookmarked it to try sometime. This morning when Avery asked for a fort I made a regular blanket one but then after it came down several times I decided to try and make a permanent (sort of) fort. So here it is, it fits right over the top of our card table.
Avery loves it and so does Jack.

It's not perfect (far from actually!) but it worked, so I'm happy!
I made it out of a sheet so I was able to cut in a way that I didn't have to hem anything, that saved a TON of time!

That's awesome! That is so creative. I'll bet your boys love it!
Ok, that makes me want a card table to make one for Jonah. He's always "making me" move the chairs so he can build forts. Way cool.
That is awesome Kiz! I want to be just like you when I grow up!
You... I have no words to express how awesome you are! Man... I need to be way more crafty... my kids might appreciate that. :)
Hey, I'm definitely comin' to see you... I'll be staying for about a month! Woohoo! I'm sure my fam will be sick of me way before a month is over, but I needed it to be that long so I don't have to stress about visiting. You know?? 1-2 weeks just doesn't cut it... I'm so excited!!!!!! So... get READY! (Oh, and talk Sis into visiting then too... it was mentioned when I talked to her the other day, but maybe you need to work on her some more!)
Oh. this is Michelle... not Michael, in case you hadn't figured it out yet... ;)
You are so creative. Way to go!
Kizzie, That turned out sooooo cute! Good work!
