Trying her hand at sign language

We don't teach our kids sign language, but Andy has always thought it was cute when babies and toddlers know a few signs. So he likes to teach our kids 'please' - because that's the only one we've bothered to learn. :) He's been working on teaching Nora, and she's finally catching on. So here she is demonstrating her new skill. Keep in mind, she's 16 months...so it's not perfect. Still cute though.

Random things I did in March

Major overhaul on our recipe collection in preparation for monthly meal planning. So much easier to find my recipes now!
made my own all purpose cleaner with orange peels and vinegar. So far so good. Things are clean {looking at least!! ha!} and the house doesn't smell like vinegar. I'll take that as a win.
Nope, those aren't potatoes. We mashed cauliflower as a healthier option. We're doing it again this week, so they must not have been too bad! :)
School memorabilia boxes for the kids. One folder for each grade level. Hoping this helps cut down on the stacks and stacks {and stacks!} of adorable {and non-recognizable??} child art work, awards, etc.

And...you know, I kept the kids fed and alive all month. We'll see if April ends as well :)
These are some of the silly things our kiddos do. They make us {ok, maybe just me!} crazy, they make us smile, cringe, and doubt our parenting "skills", but mostly they make us laugh. Every single day.

I think we'll keep them.

Sibling love

I love when they all get along. :)
