Puzzle lovers

The boys got some little 48 piece star wars puzzles in their stockings for Christmas, and then a couple more for valentine's day. Usually Andy or I will help them put them together, but lately they've been loving the puzzles and can easily get them put together in a few minutes. I have been keeping my eye open at thrift stores for more small puzzles, so far they're all 100+ pieces and I'm not sure they're ready for that quite yet!

I was doing laundry one day last week (I hate laundry!) and came out to check on Jack...he was being really quite so I was suspicious! BUT - he had gotten out a new puzzle he hadn't done yet and had it 80% put together on his own. I was pretty impressed! I love this new interest they have the is quite and nondestructive, may it last for a long, long time!

I left the puzzle there to show Andy when he came home for lunch. Jack was taking a nap so we thought it would be silly to take a picture of Andy doing the same pose as Jack...Jack did think it was silly so it paid off. And now I have a funny picture of Andy that makes me smile! :)

nap time shenanigans

This is how Nora Girl and I found Jack napping one day last week. Nora was very amused and kept trying to climb in the basket with him. Just when I thought Jack can't possibly do anything crazier...he does something like this. Love that little boy!

When company comes

This is what happens with Grandma and Grandpa come to visit from 2000 miles away. :)

Snow day fun

We had a couple snow days last week, and looks like anther tomorrow so the boys should have plenty of fun out in the cold!
The boys and I went out for a bit the other day while Andy stayed inside with Nora. I worked on shoveling the driveway so it would have time for the old snow to melt off before we get our next big storm this week. I did take some breaks to make snow angels, sled down our man made mountain and take pictures of the boys. It was chilly, but not windy so it ended up being fairly pleasant out there.

The boys can't wait for more snow days to go play outside. They're already planning on where to make their snowmen!

Valentine's Day

My goofy valentine's. I love these 3 so much.

Traditions worth keeping

Nora wasn't sure what was about to happen at first, but..surprise...she loved it! : )
I loved getting a squirt of whipped cream in the mouth when I was a kid (still do!), the boys love it and now
Nora may start squealing ever time she sees the can of creamy fluff.
Yum!
